Fabric and Care for your swimsuit

FABRIC

Our sustainable fabric, made of regenerated Nylon is versatile, hyper-resistant, thin, elegant, soft and breathable: a unique mix of muscular compression and comfort. Thanks to its innovative construction, it is twice as resistant to chlorine, suntan creams and oils.

CARE
Rinse in cold water immediately after wearing to remove chlorine, saltwater, sunscreen, and/or natural body oils.

Hand-wash your suits in cold water. Do not bleach, iron, or tumble dry.

Lay Flat to Dry. Hang drying can stretch out your suit. Lying flat to dry gives the fabric a chance to reshape.

For super-suit longevity, pre rinse your Amarilo in fresh water before diving into the pool or ocean. Salt, chlorine or other particles cling to dry suits, so jumping in some clean water
before your day at the beach or pool help maintain swimsuit fibres.

Sustainability:

SUSTAINABLE & ETHICAL SOURCING

All of our fabrics are sustainable, and our suppliers are OKEO TEK (Sustainable Textile Production) certified which ensures the implementation of environmentally friendly production processes and safe and socially acceptable working conditions in production facilities along the textile chain.

LOCAL MANUFACTURING

We work with local factories to produce our swimwear. Manufacturing locally permits us to be involved firsthand in every step of our supply chain and form close relationships with all who are involved.

Our progressive approach to sustainability is to acknowledge the fashion industry’s footprint, as well as valuing the oceans and other places we swim in. The swimwear industry has a long way to go, but Amarilo is committed to improving our current methods and exploring more innovative solutions for a sustainable future.
